In November, Berkeley voters will decide on a medical
cannabis (marijuana) ballot measure entitled the
Patients Access to Medical Cannabis Act of 2004. Known
as Measure R, the initiative will amend Berkeley's
2001 medical cannabis ordinance and make significant
improvements in the cities policy regarding medical
dispensaries.
